YTPQC-AHF Active Harmonic Filter is a perfect and comprehensive solution to the power quality issues of power grid , such as harmonics, reactive power and 3 phase load unbalance. YTPQC-AHF which is in parallel to power grid can detect the harmonic wave in power grid in time, generate the reverse-phase compensation current through the converter and dynamically filter the harmonic wave in power grid.
The operation of YTPQC-AHF is unaffected by multifarious load forms and power grid structures. And it will not produce harmonic oscillation (resonance) along with the system, thus perfectly realizing harmonic control under diverse loads. YTPQC Active Harmonic Filter can fully accomplish dynamic reactive compensation, control the capacitor switching and ultimately heighten the power factor of power grid. Meanwhile, YTPQC-AHF has the function of controlling the three-phase load current unbalance, thus comprehensively handling various power quality matters in power grid.
Modular Design
YTPQC Active Harmonic Filter has a advanced modular design. Usually YTPQC-AHF panel consists of one or several AHF modules and an optional touched LCD Human Machine Interface. Each AHF module is an independent harmonic filtering system, and users can change the harmonic filtering system rating by adding or removing AHF modules.

The Technical Performance
The THDV at site is 5.9%, exceeding the national standard limit of 5%, the THDi is 23.5%, the harmonic current is mainly 3rd, 5th, 7th order harmonics, and also contains a small number of 2nd and 4th even harmonics. After treatment, THDv decreased to 2.2%, the THDi decreased to 2.0%, and the current waveform was also restored to the sinusoidal wave type.
